Celebrity Weddings took a back seat earlier this week, as Roberto Cavalli celebrated the 40th Anniversary of his company in Paris with an over-the-top anniversary bash! Over one thousand guests including the likes of Taylor Swift, Naomi Campbell, Janet Jackson and Heidi Klum attended and partied the night away.
The guests dressed in stunning occasion gowns and beautiful dresses that would make Hillary Clinton’s mother of the bride dress look like something off the rack at Walmart. In the meantime, those privileged enough to be invited chowed down on exotic foods and sipped expensive champagne. The room was the size of a football field and was decorated with lovely arrangements of flowers and large topiaries.
The celebration honored Roberto Cavalli and his most notable contributions to the fashion world which include animal-printed evening gowns, distressed denim, and a method of printing and patching different fabrics together. Cavalli’s designs have inspired special occasion dresses and mother of the bride dresses since the mid 1990’s when he burst onto the scene with his exquisite dress designs for the affluent partygoer looking to get noticed.
