We have a lot to be excited about this year! Sonia Pena has arrived in the showroom and reaction has been fabulous. Caterina has the stores so happy that they can satisfy every customer with a wide color and size availability. Daymor’s new line looks young and fresh. Damianou is the line to buy with lace being so hot. Our custom lines Ideas by Barbara, Ildiko, Scaravelli, Sia Sia and JSS Knitwear keep our specialty stores looking different. We were so excited to discover that both the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom in the movie “Jumping the Broom” are wearing Damianou! Angela Bassett and Loretta Divine both look fantastic. Damianou is so easy to wear, is dressy without beading and has the vintage look that Mothers of the Bride and Groom are looking for today.

The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is just weeks away and there is still much speculation as to who designed the wedding dress. It seems that the Royal Family still has not confirmed it publicly, but insiders think that Libélula designer Sophie Cranston is the special occasion dress designer of choice. Middleton has worn other Cranston designs in the past, and may have chosen Cranston for what some are calling the the most influential special occasion dress of the century.

If you are one of the approximately 1,900 guests lucky enough to have received an invite, then you’d better start looking for a dress.
