Well…..another Bridal Market is in the books here at Blake & Company. A BIG thanks to all the wonderful stores that came to the showroom to see the Spring 2013 collections. One of the highlights was Caterina by Jordan. All of the stores loved the line. The young looks…prices…..huge color availability made it a winner!!! The Spring season is going to be FANTASTIC!!!!!!

This incredible Spanish line has been in business for 40 years and is now going to be available in the USA!!! Sonia Pena is very committed to the market here in the USA. All styles are available in over 75 colors, sizing is 0-34 in missy and petite sizes, various lengths offered on select styles and rush cuts are available. The looks vary from beautiful light chiffons to dramatic taffeta to embellished tulle. Perfect for Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom. We can’t wait to show you the collection!

We started showing the VM by Mori Lee Fall 2012 collection a few weeks ago and reaction is FABULOUS. Our stores expect to see a great line when we show them VM by Mori Lee but, this season VM by Mori Lee has out done themselves. Lots of tasteful beading, tulle and beautiful chiffon flatter all figures. Our stores are going to have a hard time not buying everything!

There are “dresses” and there are “magic dresses”. These are styles that are often difficult to convince the customers to try on but, once she does she loses 10 pounds, gets taller and feels so amazing she has to have the dress. This is why Mother of the Brides and Mother of the Grooms have to have an open mind when shopping. The sales people in the stores that work with clients have seen everything and really know what is going to flatter all body types. We were so excited to discover that both the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom in the movie “Jumping the Broom” are wearing Damianou! Angela Bassett and Loretta Divine both look fantastic. Damianou is so easy to wear, is dressy without beading and has the vintage look that Mothers of the Bride and Groom are looking for today.
